A great article about adoption...in time for Mother's Day
Just wanted to pass along this link to a recent article about adoption. It's encouraging to know that the celebrities who are adopting internationally are making it seem even more "normal" to the rest of us! Happy Mother's Day to all present and future moms out there!

As a mother of 4, stepmother of 2, and now grandmother of 4, I certainly celebrate everything "MOTHERLY"!
Something that I have learned on my own journey is that being a "mother" is not simply providing a nine-month "womb room" followed by some intense pushing.
Rather, "mothering" is an acquired skill learned in days and nights of practicing selfless and unconditional love and caring...and true "childbirth" comes from the heart...the ultimate place of conception.
We celebrate with Melissa and Ben, and joyfully anticipate the newest addition to our family...one who is already in our hearts.
